Get the group to actually decide
Included in every trip
The leader asks the group one question with two to five options, like where to eat Friday or which hike, and gives the vote a closing time. Everyone sees how far along it is, like 5/8 voted.
The leader can remind just the people who haven't voted, and TRIPTI.ai may also send a reminder before the vote closes. When the time is up, the vote closes, later votes don't count, and the result posts to the trip chat. If it ends in a tie, the leader picks from the tied options.
The leader sees who voted for what. Everyone else sees the totals.
